We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Milan, Italy.
Lead the implementation of project Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring compliance with Italian legislation, EU standards, and company requirements across all construction and commissioning activities.
• Risk Assessment & Permit Oversight
Develop, review, and monitor Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and permit-to-work processes, ensuring high-risk activities—such as lifting, hot works, energisation, and confined space operations—are controlled and executed safely.
• HSE Inspections & Compliance Monitoring
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and behavioural safety observations, identifying non-conformances and driving corrective actions to maintain a zero-incident environment across all trades and subcontractors.
• Training, Inductions & Safety Culture Promotion
Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and targeted safety training, actively promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring all workers understand project-specific HSE rules and best practices.
• Incident Management & Reporting
Lead the investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, producing clear reports with root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and ensuring lessons learnt are communicated across the project team.
Must have 4+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have Strong knowledge of current Irish and EU Health & Safety legislation.
